On Friday 10 November 2023, The Roman Ridge School commemorated Remembrance Day. The whole school gathered in a brief and solemn ceremony in honour of all gallant and fallen soldiers during World War II.
In the weeks preceding the ceremony, Prefects and Student Committees led the Annual Poppy Drive, which serves as a fundraiser for the Veterans Administration of Ghana. Thanks to the great support of our Pupils, Staff and Parents, TRRS successfully raised GHS 4,705 for the Veterans Administration of Ghana.
We are grateful to parents for their constant support and contributions to all of our programmes, Ms. Gloria Awuku Boateng (Principal Teacher) for leading the coordination of our Annual Remembrance Day Commemoration, Staff, and Students for making this year’s Remembrance Day a success.
