Damini Ahuja receives the 2021 Harvard Book Prize Ghana

We are thrilled to announce that Damini Ahuja (Lower 6) has been named a recipient of the Harvard Book Prize Ghana 2021, alongside four other students.

The Harvard Book Prize is awarded to outstanding students in the next-to-graduating class selected by the Executive Board of the Harvard Club of Ghana. The selection criteria is based on academic excellence, exceptional personal qualities, a significant contribution to school or community and a written response to an essay prompt.

The Harvard Club of Ghana will present Damini with this prestigious award at our upcoming Speech & Prize Giving Ceremony in June 2022. Damini, who is the fourth TRRS student to receive this award, will receive a personally inscribed copy of the Harvard Book which is an anthology of essays written by Harvard alumni spanning three centuries. Past TRRS recipients include Brianna Boafo (Class of 2021), Katelyn Owusu (Class of 2020) and Carl Awuku (Class of 2020), establishing TRRS as the school with the most Harvard Book Prize Awardees in Ghana.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to her for her outstanding achievement, and may this accolade serve to encourage and motivate other students to reach for their stars.

Damini is currently serving as our Head Girl and she was awarded the Chairman’s Bursary in 2021 for her outstanding performance in her IGCSE examinations (6A* 2A).
