In line with our ongoing efforts to extend learning beyond the classroom, TRRS Senior School students participated in the Cambridge Upper Secondary Science Competition 2024. This is a global programme that challenges aspiring scientists to work together on a scientific investigation into topic of practical relevance to their school or community. Participants are asked to consider sustainability throughout – helping students connect science to solving real-world problems.
TRRS students proudly showcased six innovative projects, applying their research, experimental, and investigative skills acquired in their studies of Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Each project involved 60-90 hours of preparation through extensive research and laboratory work.
We were pleased to welcome Ms. Efua Asiedu (Cambridge West Africa Manager) to TRRS on Wednesday 28 June 2024 to present Medal Certificates issued by Cambridge to our deserving students, for their outstanding entries, as follows:
