The Roman Ridge School is synonymous with excellence in all pursuits and The Chairman’s Bursary, established in 2014 by Co-Founder and Board Chairman Dr. Frank B. Adu Jr, awards students with a term’s bursary, valued at US$ 2,300, at Sixth Form for attaining straight As at their Cambridge IGCSE examinations. To date, Dr. Adu has awarded 29 scholarships to TRRS students, totalling an impressive US$ 71,000, which includes 2 special awards to sporting excellence.
On 15 September 2023, Dr. Adu presented 5 students with the Chairman’s Bursary during a Special Ceremony in the presence of their fellow students, their teachers and their very proud parents! The recipients are: –
Naadirah Tanko – 9A*
Mahalakshimi Bhalaji – 9A*
Tanefa Asem – 6A* & 2A
Divisha Ingavale – 4A * & 5A
Indeed, TRRS results for June 2023 Cambridge IGCSE examinations continue to speak to excellent achievement across all subject areas with 45 candidates registered across 14 subjects, earning outstanding results overall:
21% achieving A*
42% achieving A* – A
84% achieving A* – C
